    • A study conducted by the Rochester Center for Obesity Research found that those who ate eggs for breakfast typically consumed 400 calories less per day than those who didn’t. Why? Because eggs are a great source of protein and therefore keep you fuller, longer!
  • May prevent breast cancer
    • Research done in 2003 by Harvard University found that eating eggs as an adolescent could help prevent breast cancer as an adult. Another study conducted in 2005 found that women who ate at least 6 eggs per week had a 44% lower risk of development breast cancer than women who ate two or less eggs per week.

    • Eggs contain omega-3 fatty acids, which when consumed as part of a healthy diet can lower blood triglycerides and help regulate and lower cholesterol. They’ve also been proven to regulate cholesterol absorption and inflammation in the bloodstream, balancing the amount of good cholesterol and bad cholesterol — helping to lower the risk of heart disease.
  • Improves eye health
    • Lutein and zeaxanthin are two important carotenoids found in eggs, and the only 2 of 600 total carotenoids found in the eyes. They work to maintain eye health by filtering out blue spectrums of light, reducing your chances of developing macular degeneration and glaucoma.
